What next in your career?

In one's career journey , there are times & more often there is a point of plateauing that happens & happens multiple times. The idea of these words here are to try to seek what are the possible reasons for that & what can one at an individual level do to ensure that there are a few times that one gets there in his/her career journey.

First things first is to understand what makes this saturation point come to an individual. Again there are broadly 2 types here, one who are almost content with the status quo & try to make use of their time & energy elsewhere like community service , other interests like music, fine arts, cooking, & travelling. They would ideally like to be appreciated with the required growth & recognition as necessary. The 2nd bunch is more of only looking at career & are do not have anything else that they pursue & these guys need the change / challenges along with the growth more faster as they are always doing 'work' which they are fine with.

Looking at it from an individual's point of view it just cannot be said which approach is better. But from what it looks like from the past few decades if not centuries & also the way the British worked , it can be said that it was a healthy mix of both & not just working alone.
It is clear that every person has only 24 hours in a day & it is a call as to how we can address & do stuff basis our priority.

So 'what next' is a question that needs to be a constant one in our lives to ensure we know what we are doing & why are we doing so.
