It sure has been a long time & today as i write watching the finals of the cricket match between India & Sri lanka, i do realise how business / corporate life has changed ( better or worse? )
Actually there seems to be no change in the basic tenets of business like people still like to please bosses, do work that please the bosses, never question things, only 5 - 10 % of people like to work purely to achieve something for themselves rather than anything else.
As i have evolved over time in terms of understanding what business means - revenues, profitability, sales, marketing, customer service, products & finally process along with people, it makes me realize that building a business being an employee or being an entrepreneur is never easy. I say this because everything cannot always be smoothly functioning & there will be one or the other that will need a fix or atleast tinkering.
To top it all moving beyond all this & delivering more than expected consistently time & again is even more important for an individual.
In order to get going its always important to ensure that we see the negatives of others,empathize others & always be oneself though getting influenced by others in the right way is always welcome.
In school there was always something called "time-table" , how i wish one can could realize & follow the same schema out here to do business. Not to deny that some of the leaders today do it & that's why they have been successful.
Its really nice to see few people with an intent to succeed rather than float around without the interest to learn.
